At Waters Edge

This is how much of the undeveloped land looks near the Gulf. Lots of scrub palms and lots of dry grasses. It seems like Florida is always in a drought condition so things don't always stay green very long after it rains.

A Fine Day

The boat people were out in force when I painted this study. It was a beautiful day with a light breeze, perfect for being on the water.

Strawberry Time

I took a ton of pictures the last time I was painting at the strawberry farm and this painting was done from one of those pics. The correct name for the farm is the JG Ranch even though I keep calling it the strawberry farm. By the way, the strawberries are delicious--much better when you pick them yourself! 8 x 10, oil on panel
